As first tier auto makers trying to reallocate resources to make EV more available to a selected target market segment, many of the less well known car OEMs in China have already dedicated a majority of their capital to create affordable EVs for the general public. A Joint Development Agreement was made between DPS and the first Chinese government permitted electric vehicle OEMs to develop a small SUV with two battery storage systems. This project is highly recognized by the provincial government of Zhejiang, China.
