DPS’ patented Integrated Battery Platform ("IBP") technology serves OEMs of all types of electric vehicles (EVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and various stationary power providers. This technology enables customers to dramatically reduce their product time to market whether for new battery cells or new EVs, and reduce R&D and production costs while extending the operating life of integrated power battery systems.

At the heart of the IBP technology is the Universal Battery Module (UBM™) which is engineered by integrating advanced battery cells together intelligently to serve as a basic working unit. Each UBM™ unit can work independently or be put together with other UBM™ units to form an integrated battery system. These smart modules can work together via an array of functions to provide full management as a complete battery system. This technology encompasses the "UBM Inside" battery pack, "UBM-Compatible" chargers, and "UBM-Compatible" motor controllers with full engineering support.

DPS is effectively offering the first off-the-shelf solution using lithium batteries and driving standardization in using power batteries by EV, PHEV, and stationary power applications via mass production.
